Clint Stanger has been playing music in the Ogden area for over 14 years now. Growing up in Roy, Utah, he began taking guitar lessons from Dan McKay at teh age of 13, and never looked back. The first song he learned was Nirvana's version of The Man Who Sold the World. He got started on a healthy dose of grunge/alternative, but soon branched out into folk, blues, jazz, and classical guitar.

Clint has been teaching guitar since 2004 and has picked up the drums, bass, and even a little piano on the side, making him a well-rounded musician. Specializing in a variety of styles, Clint likes the challenge of rock, blues, folk, western, and jazz. His lessons include not only physical performance, but also a "behind-the-scenes" look into the theory and structure of the music, helping to give the students and appreciation and understanding of the work that goes into making music. He enjoys helping write and hearing his students' own original compositions.

Along with performing in a few local groups, Clint is currently attending Weber State University and plays bass in the WSU Jazz Band and the WSU Jazz Combo.
