Brittney Wood has been singing and performing since she was five years old. She has studied with many teachers across the country, including in California, Las Vegas, and Nashville. Brittney has studied with renowned vocal coaches like Brett Manning and Dave Brooks. Brittney started coaching students in 1999 in Utah, and 2002 in Nashville, Tennessee. She now resides and coaches primarily in Utah, but still travels to Nashville.

Brittney is known for her unique technique that gets results fast. She takes what seems difficult and simplifies it and demonstrates it in a way that is tailored to each individual student. She gets her students to break through barriers in their range that they thought they never could. She also helps with various other vocal problems.

Brittney teaches students to feel the emotion in the songs they sing and teaches them to perform the songs, not just sing them. She also teachers her students to connect with the audience in a way that gets the audience to feel what the song is about.

Brittney has coached all ages, three years on up. She has taught all different skill levels, from beginners to professionals. She has a lot of experience working with children, as she is the oldest of six children and has been a nanny, substitute teacher, and worked with at risk youth.

Brittney is a graduate of Weber State University. She has performed in many local events in Utah and Tennessee as a soloist and in various groups and choirs. She was the vocal narrator in the musical production “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. She feels that she was born to teach and born to sing!
